COAT OF ARMS
The College of Arms is the official heraldic authority for the United Kingdom and much of the
Commonwealth including Australia and New Zealand, and it is they who grant Coats of Arms
to individuals and corporate bodies.
Coats of arms belong to a specific person and their family. There is no such thing as a Family
Crest or a coat of arms for a family name.
